Kids Book Club {giveaway closed}

Welcome to my first giveaway of the year – the Kids Book Club giveaway! It seemed only right that the first one be tied to my first love – before hubby and Charly and even this blog – the thing I loved most in the world was reading ALL THE BOOKS! With the addition of Charly into my world, reading my own books has been somewhat of a rare occurrence; I never have enough quiet time on my own and I am generally so sleep deprived that concentrating isn’t a thing I can do. All of that said, I have rediscovered my love for children’s books. And nothing makes me smile more than seeing that love reflected in Charly.

One of the things I utterly adore is the concept of kids books subscription services. It combines my love of gifts, surprises and books with my love of seeing my child light up at a new “present” every month. As you know, there are two subscription services I make use of; and this week one lucky reader will stand a chance to win a one month free subscription with our Kids Book Club giveaway.

Kids Book Club Spring

Kids Book Club is for kids up to 9 years old. Each month, each age group receives 2 books; from touch and feel for babies and toddlers through to activity and reading books for older children. You also get access to 20 free worksheets and colouring sheets, which I love. They even throw in a few top glossy magazines, in case you missed last month’s editions, for mommy as well! The books arrive in a monthly themed carry bag, and we are building a brightly coloured collection – Spring, Halloween, Christmas, New Year and Back to School 🙂

Kids Book Club Halloween

Kids Book Club New Year

This is a really affordable subscription option for your little ones. At only R160 for one child (and less per child the more you add) for 2 kids books you are getting good value for money. The subscription automatically renews each month but allows you to cancel anytime on their really easy to navigate website. So it is definitely a solid investment in your child’s development.

November and January have contained the most awesome “treasure hunt” fold out books that Charly utterly adores. Several times a day she just blows us away by naming more things in the book than we realise she has words for, and finding and counting them up.

Kids Book Club Christmas

Kids Book Club Back to School

And now! To the fun 🙂 One lucky winner will win a one-month subscription to Kids Book Club with Pregnant in Cape Town & Ever After and the Kids Book Club giveaway! The winner will be announced on Thursday 4 February!

Ooooh!!! Really loving this giveaway!!! We come from a background where reading is not influenced and I strongly disagree with that. I am so firm as to teach my child to read. Reading is so important as it contributes largely to brain development and gives a child an excitement of imagination, stimulation and education at the same time. Really, really, really holding thumbs on this one!! We would be so appreciative.
