I bought a parenting magazine

For those who missed it, when I say I bought a parenting magazine, I don’t mean at the shop; I mean I BOUGHT a parenting magazine! A few of you may have seen the news yesterday; I am officially the new owner and Editor in Chief of the Tums 2 Tots Online brand.


The love and support that has poured in from everyone has been incredible and I can’t tell you how much it means to me. Just as often, I have heard the undertone of, “Has she finally lost her mind??!!” Maybe I have 🙂

Yes, I have a lot on my plate with my business clients, this amazing space and the South African Sisterhood; but I simply could not say no when the amazing previous editor of Tums 2 Tots Online came to me and asked me to buy her babies. She knows how passionate I am about supporting parents from pregnancy through the parenthood journey, and she saw how I transformed and grew this little blog of mine in the last few months, so she knows I have the heart and the grit to do the same for the T2T brand.

I am SO excited!!! This year will mostly be preparing for the new year, but I have SO many plans! I promise to keep you all updated as I go and I really hope you will be a part of the journey as well! Besides visiting the magazine regularly (there is fresh interesting content from a variety of writers every day and some amazing giveaways); I would love to see you on the Tums 2 Tots facebook page, Twitter account and Pinterest page! I will try to get the Instagram account up ASAP as well.

I would absolutely and totally LOVE any and all feedback, thoughts or ideas you have on the brand – stories you’d like to read, brands you would like to see more of, suggestions on new categories for the directory (yes I will create one just for your business!).

For those who are worried, I am not “going” anywhere; Pregnant in Cape Town & Ever After is MY space filled with my voice and all things belonging to me and you and Charly and everything will keep on keeping on here and on social media as always, including awesome series and special giveaways.

T2T is somewhere I can help others get their voices heard, from stories to advice to competitions and business promotions; and I can’t wait to start doing that as well!
