It is no secret that I am a huge fan of Jess from Watercolour Heart. She has the most incredible talent and a just-as-incredible heart, and she is one of maybe 5 people in all the world who loves Christmas as much as I do. And I am so incredibly happy to tell you that Watercolour Heart has a gift for you this Christmas!
If any of you are unsure who Jess and Watercolour Heart are, you can read the whole story here. But in brief, Jess is an incredibly gifted artist who has started a personal illustration business called Watercolour Heart. I keep sharing the below video because I am so blown away by watching her talent unfold in front of my eyes. You can watch how she takes a photo of Charlotte and turns it into an utterly unique work of art. After this part is over, she digitises the illustration and ensures it is of the highest quality, allowing you to use it in whatever way you wish – from canvas prints, to cards, coffee mugs or Christmas cards.
You will have seen in All I Want for Christmas is Something Handmade with Love that Jess has designed a special Christmas range which is just beautiful. I even love the names she has given each theme: Blue Moon, Masala & Teal, Apple Blossoms & Pinecones, Succulents & String, Peppermint Twist and Tradtional Christmas; don’t you just LOVE them??!
The idea of Watercolour Heart started with a box of watercolour paints Jess received after her grandmother passed away. “With them I fell in love with illustrating special moments, and sharing in the special images of others. I started this business to encourage creativity and caring in everyday life. I am passionate about art and people and hope that Watercolour Heart will share and spread this passion.”
Being very family focused is another thing that Jess and I share; although she lives far from her family, she remains incredibly close to all of them. I can feel that love in the art she creates and THAT is why I think that an illustration from her is the perfect gift for the people you love this Christmas or the perfect addition to a gift to be used as a family Christmas card.
